On this page you'll find
Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word files of the EMS patterns.
These files are black and white A4 sized pages with graphics of the EMS patterns formatted to make converting them into cross stitch easy, you should print these out and use them whilst stitching.
If you don't have a EMS kit and your unfamiliar with cross stitch embroidery, you should download these instruction documents that will introduce you to the basic techniques.
Cross stitching is very easy, and these patterns are quite small, they'll should only take you about 5 hours to complete. Of all embroidery, cross stitching is the easiest. Don't be daunted by the patterns. If you feel the pattern is too big for you, you can just cross stitch the central word and the small design around it and leave out the rest of the pattern. You can cross stitch whilst watching TV, on a train, at a bar, where ever, its a very relaxing pastime.
If you have your own materials (Aida fabric, embroidery thread, embroidery needle) just download one of these patterns and stitch your own EMS. If you don't have your own materials you may want to purchase a kit, go to the "buy EMS kit" page. A EMS kit contains everything you need.
Please feel free to adapt and customise the patterns how ever you like, change colours, sizes, methods of stitching and add your symbols into the designs, or just stick to the basic designs. Then send us images of the results!
